Trent Heminger, who leads the team, has been named one of "America’s Best Real Estate Agents” by both the Wall Street Journal and Real Trends (the undisputed leader of residential real estate rankings in America). Additionally, Washingtonian Magazine has named Heminger as a Top Producer and Top Agent in the Washington Metro Area. The team has done more than $207 million in sales and closed over 300 transactions since January 2016. Trent Heminger leads Trent & Co, one of the most successful teams in the DMV. He specializes in new construction and resales in DC, Bethesda and close-in communities.

Trent has been named one of "America’s Best Real Estate Agents” by both the Wall Street Journal and Real Trends. Additionally, Washingtonian Magazine has named him as a Top Producer and Top Agent in the Washington Metro area. Trent's team had over $207 million in sales and closed over 300 transactions Since January 2016, and they are on track to meet or exceed those numbers this year.

Heminger began his career in the real estate industry in 2000. From 2003 to 2008, Trent worked as a sales manager for McWilliams|Ballard, Inc. This experience honed his professional expertise in the development, marketing and successful selling of large-scale condominium communities. As a result, Trent became one of the highest producing agents in the area and consistently closed upwards of 100 properties annually.

In 2008, he moved to TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, where Trent’s business evolved as his clients’ lifestyles evolved, resulting in an increased number of single-family home sales, adding to his existing multi-family client base. Being recognized as part of the Top Team at TTR Sotheby’s in 2010 is a testament to his success and far-reaching business.

In 2011, Trent helped start a new brokerage known as Beasley Real Estate. His business continued to grow throughout the 3 years his team was with Beasley. In October of 2015, he moved his team to Compass.

Trent’s passion for the real estate business, together with his experience, work ethic, and follow-through, has earned him both a great deal of repeat business as well as respect among his colleagues in the industry. As a long-time Washington, DC resident and a parent of young twin daughters, he is sensitive to the needs of families looking to buy or sell.

After building miniature neighborhoods and cities that spanned his parents' basement floor, Kevin knew he had a keen interest in real estate. Upon graduating from The College of Wooster in 2001 with a double major in Urban Studies and Studio Art, Kevin started working in real estate in the Metro DC Area. He has had an invaluable array of real estate marketing and sales experience with top brokers ever since: first with an established agent in one of the highest-volume offices in Bethesda, then for a top-producing partnership in the Mid-Atlantic and finally with the highest-grossing listing agent in Georgetown before joining the Trent & Company team. Whether selling single-family homes in suburban Maryland, coops and condos in Kalorama and Upper NW or row houses in Logan and Dupont, Kevin has had a varied real estate history in and around DC.

Among Kevin's greatest strengths are his area knowledge (as an area native), his effective persistence, a formal and career-related education in architecture and his easy-going disposition in what can be a difficult arena.

Mary’s core Midwestern values are evident to anyone who works with her, as native of Ohio, she left her small town of Chagrin Falls to pursue a career in New York’s fashion industry. After eleven years of corporate buying in New York and Washington, DC she’s shifted her stills to supporting clients in luxury real estate.

For sellers, Mary’s retail backbone is unparalleled in getting her clients over market value through successful staging, cutting-edge marketing and effective pricing strategies based on market trends. Having lived in the DC Metro area for over 20 years now, for buyers, she can provide extensive knowledge of the industry and demographic area with superior negotiating skills and comprehensive services that support her clients well beyond the closing date.

Mary is licensed in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia but focuses her skills on supporting Trent & Co’s Maryland business.

Andrew Nelson

A Washington, DC native, Andrew brings extensive knowledge about the area as the newest member of the Trent & Co Team. Specializing in first time home buying, Andrew utilizes his area knowledge to help his clients find the best home that not only fits their budget but their lifestyle, too.

Andrew’s clients praise his professionalism, marketplace knowledge, dedication, and ability to get them to the settlement table. From international to first time home buyers, his clients always praise his patience and loyalty. His skill to streamline the home buying and selling process while firmly negotiating transactions make it a winning combination.

Andrew spent his early childhood abroad, living in Italy, the Middle East and Germany before moving back to Washington DC. He attended Saint Andrew’s Episcopal High School in Potomac, MD and later George Washington University. He started his real estate career at TTR Sotheby's International Realty where he learned proven programs that generated quick results. He has a vast knowledge of construction and development as well as marketing and sales initiatives.

Tommy Hart

Tommy Hart is an incredibly experienced agent who is the most recent agent to join Trent & Co. He has been selling real estate in the DMV since 2002 and is licensed in DC, MD and VA. He has also attained his GRI (Graduate of Realtor Institute) Certificate.

Starting his career at Coldwell Banker, he sought new challenges selling large scale new construction condominiums at McWilliams Ballard, selling over $100m. MB honed Tommy’s skills in the benefits and pitfalls of buying/selling new construction. In January 2007, after the new construction market turned downward, Tommy returned to residential re-sale and joined Long & Foster in Woodley Park. After more than 7 successful years at L&F, Tommy was offered a great opportunity and joined the Dupont Circle office of Coldwell Banker where he continued to pursue his passion of finding the perfect new home for his buyers and achieving the best possible outcome for his sellers.

A top producer with numerous awards in the Metro DC area having sold over $52mil in re-sale, his professionalism and knowledge of the housing market have earned him a loyal client base from whom he continually receives referrals – the ultimate compliment in real estate!

Tommy is originally from Maplewood, NJ, a small town outside of New York City. With his passion for horses, he spent his younger years as a fierce competitor in the equestrian arena until graduating with a B.S. degree in political science from Drew University in Madison, NJ in 1993. He then moved to DC working in the banking industry before finding his penultimate passion selling real estate.

In addition to his real estate career, Tommy enjoys horseback riding, travel, cooking, trying new restaurants and his two adorable cats that live with him in Logan Circle.

Cassidy grew up in a small town in southwest Virginia where he developed an appreciation for historic colonial construction. He counts himself lucky to have been exposed to such a rich architectural upbringing.

After graduating from Bridgewater College, he trekked to the DC area where he’s worked in sales for the last several years. As a former college football player, Cassidy recognizes the significance of Trent & Co’s motto of the “power of a team”. He draws on the expertise of the entire team to execute successful deals on behalf of his clients to obtain the best results for his clients. Cassidy strives to provide his clients straightforward, honest and stress-free guidance while also building a life-long partnership.

As the team lead for Trent & Co’s new development and construction program, D’Ann has spent the past 5 years of her career growing Trent & Co’s new dev business. With hundreds of new residential unit sales under her belt, client’s often call on her expertise in the condominium conversion and construction process to create viable projects for the DC marketplace. D’Ann continues to enhance and refine the team’s new construction best practices and project protocols. 

After leaving Beasley Real Estate with Trent Heminger and his team, she continues to expand the scope and sales platform for new development at Compass, which brings a modern approach to new development marketing and sales. Specializing in boutique rental conversions and mid-size condominium projects, Trent & Co is the perfect sales team for local developers looking for the white glove treatment. 

A native Californian, D’Ann spent most of her professional career working in public service. Among her former employers are United States Senate, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (now CalFire) and the City of San Bernardino’s Mayor’s Office. Her background in government relations, transportation and open space planning come in handy when working with local municipalities including neighborhood associations on housing issues. D’Ann has Bachelor of Science degrees in economics and environmental studies and also holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from California State University.

As a child, Ryan quickly displayed an affinity for real estate with his constant sketching and designing of homes. In an effort to pursue this passion, he attended Clemson University in South Carolina where he studied business management and architecture.

As the son of an entrepreneur, Ryan understands the importance of being part of a cohesive and hardworking team. Ryan joined Trent & Co. from Jacksonville, Florida over 2 years ago. Since moving to the DC Metro area, he has gained an appreciation for the fast-paced and competitive DC real estate market and the value that his architectural background and artistic eye can bring to his clients. Ryan’s easy-going and flexible nature, coupled with his client-first attitude, allows him to help both buyers and sellers successfully navigate the real estate market.

Ryan enjoys spending his free time with friends and family as well as traveling and attending auto shows.

Chloe Zomnir

A Pittsburgh native, Chloe attended Carnegie Mellon University where she studied International Relations & Politics and German. Her interest in international politics originally drew her to DC, but her passion for interior design and residential real estate is what drew her to Trent & Co & Compass.

Prior to joining Trent & Co, Chloe worked as an analyst in private wealth management and then as an office manager for Compass. Her experience in fast-paced, customer service-oriented environments, coupled with an evolving creative eye, has enabled her to play a key supportive role on the Trent & Co team. Chloe is licensed in DC.
